ABOUT

Multi-Award winning artist Naomi Taylor says "music is a safe place that we are able to escape to, especially when we feel as if we have nowhere else to run." Whether she is writing songs for herself or for other artists’ work, Naomi offers a combination of both the down-to-earth nostalgia of a younger, easier time and the realism of life's hardships rolled into a catchy melody that you can listen to with the windows rolled down, nod your head to and to simply catch your breath for a split second.
Naomi Taylor grew up in Lucedale, MS where she began her music career at the age of 15. Having been raised on legends like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Michael Jackson, The Eagles, etc. Naomi's passion for music grew like a wildfire. She began performing showcases in local festivals, restaurants, benefits, county fairs, weddings, and many more. Now, Naomi is pursuing her career full-time as she performs concerts to showcase her original music. In 2019, Naomi released her debut self-produced single “Through The Lines” which touches on the self reflection and conversation of processing one’s inner trauma. The slow, melodic single led Naomi to perform more house shows right before the global pandemic struck. After taking a pause from performing due to the pandemic, Naomi began writing and recording for her four song EP “WE’LL FIND OUR WAY” released in 2022. The EP consisted of some of her top hits “Under Pressure (Bonus Track)”, “Lost at Sea”, “Darline, Mine”, and a voice memo titled “three a.m.” which will soon be fully produced on her upcoming album.
Later that year, Naomi released her heart-felt single titled “Take Care” as a reminder to all that taking care of yourself is what is most important for growth. Naomi hit the ground running in 2023 by releasing her newest single “Friend Like That” with her debut music video to follow which explains the hurt and pain in losing friendships that never had your best interest in mind in the first place. Naomi’s songwriting has many different influences such as Paramore, The Band CAMINO, IPrevail, Skyline Motel, Trousdale and many more.
